With the cooler temps right around the corner, who doesn’t love spending a little extra time in the kitchen baking up some homemade goodies! The smell of freshly baked banana bread will get everyone ready for fall! This month our recipe comes from Phyllis Michel. It is her famous Banana Bread! Banana Bread Recipe

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c veg. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. flour
3 large ripe bananas—mashed
1 tsp. soda

Cream sugar, shortening. Add other ingredients as listed. Bake in 2 small loaf pans 350 degrees for about 1
hour. Test by inserting toothpick (Don’t overbake)
